New year, new leadership at Fresno County. At the Jan. 6 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board selected this year’s officers, honored outgoing Chairman Buddy Mendes, proclaimed January 2026 as National Mentoring Month, and recognized Pleasant Mattress, Inc., for its partnership and support of workforce development through the NEO Program.
