California Low Cost Auto PSA (English)

CLCA was established by the California Legislature in 1999 to provide income-eligible, good drivers with car insurance protection at affordable rates to help them meet California’s mandatory auto insurance law. Any driver is eligible for the program as long as they have a valid California driver’s license, meet the income eligibility guidelines, have a good driving record, and own a vehicle valued at $25,000 or less.
